Egg-laying chicken farming requires proper management to produce quality eggs and ensure profitability for the farmer. The purpose of this article is to cultivate livestock to achieve optimal benefits and breeding results. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with field research data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The environment of Pondok Babaris Village is ideal for egg-laying chicken farming because almost all of the area is swampy and remote from residential areas that are not densely populated. The results of this research conclude that the management of egg-laying chicken farming in Pondok Babaris Village, Sungai Pandan District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. There are several steps that must be understood in chicken farming, including selecting high-quality and superior seeds, providing protein-rich, nutritious, and balanced feed, regularly maintaining and cleaning the coop to avoid various disease outbreaks and wild animals, and conducting regular vaccinations
